Okay. I am not sure if i should believe this guy. Zeos says a lot of headphones are good and he seems trustworthy but is he a full on audiophile and if not is tek sundicate more of an audiophile. Zeos said that the hd668b has most exaggerated soundstage ever in a headphone with the hifiman pads, however he says the as series is focused and better for gaming. I have heard the ad series has the best soundstage but is z reviews telling the truth here? Or should i believe tek syndicate who says they have a tiny bit better soundstage than closed cans? Thanks

Not sure I would call them experts in anything

Pretty much ignore any and all YouTube reviewers when it comes to headphones... No matter what people try and tell you, Z or TekSyndicate are NOT good sources for information regarding headphones. The only one I would remotely trust that does YouTube videos would have to be Tyll.

I dont watch that much youtube about headphones so who is Tyll?

I sometimes watch z-reviews but that is mostly for fun, since his hearing is bad and it's sometimes so stupid, that it makes it fun. I would never listing to what he says about headphones, but he has made a okay list on reddit with speakers, headphones and all that stuff.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

Like his headphone reviews, his speaker reviews are generally sweeping and devoid of any clear description of what something sounds like. Compare any of his rambling speaker "reviews" to one of the write-ups at noaudiophile.com. Not only does noaudiophile provide measurements, and a very clear verbal description of the sound, he often accurately anticipates sonic characteristics and problems based just on the physical design of a speaker, indicating an in-depth background and knowledge in what he is talking about.

I watch him cause he's entertaining, there are kernels of truth within his videos, but most of it is just masked by the gigantic amount of subjectivity in his testing.

His lists are generally alright, I completely disagree with many of the descriptions he puts on them though.

Yeah I also disagree with most of the descriptions I have read he had put on them.

Thanks so much guys. I now have both ad700x and hd668b I almost feel the 668s have better directionality and soundstage but they are hella uncomfortable. The drivers touch my ear and they are hot. Hifiman velours might be good, but are they that much deeper?
