How do I secure my Wifi-dongle(datacard) ?

 I have a wifi dongle (WEP) . How do I secure it? Is there any way I can add 2step authentication for it? I have seen numerous methods to secure wifi routers. But I could find no guides for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

WEP is outdated and insecure, afaik there is no way to make it more secure other than to set the router to not broadcast the SSID (thus securing your WEP network) but afaik there is no way to make your wifi dongle more secure
