Hi forum,

Any idea on a program? At the moment I'm using handbrake that does take a while to do. I have two 980ti's idling that I would like to use to encode MP4 videos.

Adobe software (like Premiere and Media Encoder) use CUDA cores right? Media Encoding is probably something to look into. Expensive software though..

I'm not aware of software that will utilize your GPU's for mp4 encoding. Even Adobe Premier/Media Encoder when exporting a video to h.264/mp4 hammers away at the CPU, with the GPU sitting around; unless there are CUDA effects in which the GPU can do its black magic.

Handbrake's GPU encoding is functional, but experimental. See if it works with your content- mine created garbled files, but I was working with AVCHD MTS files, which might have been the issue. However, I don't think it can leverage dual-GPU configurations just yet, but you're welcome to try and see what goes down.
