Windows 8 Not booting after update

xXCallumXx

Im running Windows 8 pro and whenever it updates the next time it boots it gets stuck on the green please wait screen. I have to keep rebooting hoping to get into the windows recovery screen so I can preform a system restore. Does anyone know how to sort this problem? Thanks.

Can you attempt to boot to your windows 8 disk and repair from there?

the normal advice i would give you is KICK IT but in this case just smash the f8 key to get win to boot to safe mode
