What psu should I buy?

Wasard

I'm building myself a new pc soon and I wondered what PSU I should buy, as I don't really know much about them. I'm gonna be rocking a 4790k and 2 way sli 980ti's.

850W is a good amount. Obligatory 850W G2 will always make its way in there and the Corsair RMi 850W is also a good option.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

You will want at least 750 watts, and make sure it's at least 80+ gold rated for excellent and consistent efficiency especially with those high end parts.
