I have never seen artifacting like this.

The last few nights I have been having GPU problems.   Once or twice o get artifacts like this. 

 

Mother times I just get a message that the display driver has crashed.  

 

GPU is an EVGA 980 ti using the newest nvidia drivers.   Did a fresh install using DDU but still having the same problem.  I even removed my OC.  

 

I I really hope I don't have to RMA the card so I am looking for ideas.

Ran a 3dmark test tonight.    scored an 8387.  Something is wrong for sure.  Time to call EVGA

Was overclocked with a very minor voltage increase.  Been running stable since August like that.

My educated guess would be that the v-ram is bad.

Looks like the core clock is running at 595 MHz even with boost.   So not sure.

I have restarted, reset the card, re-installed drivers.  No luck.  I have been considering SLI anyway.  So I think I will pick up a second card and RMA this one.  When I get it back I will SLI them.

Keep in mind people said to uninstall your drivers and install an older version, not to just reinstall them
