Quick GPU Temp Question

So is 70 c for 7 hours on a 660 ti bad. I was going to fold overnight. Room Temp 70 c but GPU is overclocked

70C is fine for a GPU, But if it heats up your room to 70C you should probably open a window

Not at all, most GPUs can withstand over 100c (not recommended in my book though). I would get an AC unit or some desk fans for your room if you can.

Yes that's fine. A CPU can handle upto 75C (Intel) or 61C (AMD) and a GPU can take upto 90C

60c is also fine. My 690 heats up to 90c when playing FC3 without my AC on.

my 680 when folding runs at 80C max and 4770k at around 70C so dont worry about it

I do hate it when my room hits 158 degrees fahrenheit.

sounds like celsius whcih means you are god cuz im not sure how you can be in a room thats 70 Oc 

btw a maximum safe temp i would say for a gpu is 90 Oc

That is a normal temp mate, my GT 630 often ran at that but if you want to run it at a lower temp then point a fan at it

 

The GTX 650 Ti I have now never exceeds 44 degrees though.

I'd be worried more about cooking yourself. 70°C in your room is not good.
