G2a?

Go to solution Solved by G2A_Team,

Hello,

As a Digital Marketplace, we are not selling our own stock of keys - we allow external, independent sellers to post their auctions on our website. Each Seller is being controlled before posting any key, and while the security measures allow us to ensure 98.99% security of the keys sold, we are aware that there are people out there who will want to use our Marketplace for scams. This is why we implemented many solutions for our customers to protect themselves from such situations - the most secure one is the G2A Shield, a service allowing us to offer you the fastest possible ways to solve the issue with the key. Then there is also the Resolution Center, available for everyone regardless of the Shield. This way you can contact the Seller directly and solve your issue with the help of our Staff.

If you have any further questions or doubts, keep in mind that you can always find additional information on G2A's FAQ or by contacting us on live chat or ticket. Our consultants are there for you 24/7.

See you again at G2A!

G2A Team

How reliableis g2a? I wanna buy a fallout 4 copy for 37.67 from a Czech vendor but am hesitant. If I buy it will my key later become bad? What are the risks? If I buy it from a Czech vendor will the voices be in Czech? That would suck lmao....... I can change the audio right?...

The Fallout 4 STEAM CD-KEY GLOBAL is in mutliple languages including english and I can see the cheapest price the czech seller, I'd say go for it.

I've personally bought many games from G2A and have sold unused humble bundle keys myself, so its a pretty good site.

I've bought about 6 games from it all worth less than 5-25 dollars. It depends on who you buy from. It's sort of like ebay where other people sell their stuff.

They offer protection, g2a shield which costs like a dollar or two I think. You need to read the descriptions on a lot of the products you're going to buy. I don't think you'll have a language problem tho, because I've bought from French, and Greek or German sellers.

I'd wait for a steam sale on fallout, I think one is coming up.

Good luck

The first time I bought a key from G2A, it was a copy of elder scrolls online (non-imperial edition) and a week later my account go disabled because the key was fraudulent.

I got the shield thing and I was refunded within the next couple days. Needless to say I was happy I got my money back, but the feeling of being tricked has stuck with me.

And thus I will never buy from some second hand seller ever again. It's either from Steam, Origin, Uplay, or GameStop for me.

You say you are just a marketplace where others sell their stuff like eBay, well eBay offers their "Get the item you ordered or your money back" guarantee without charging extra for it. Can you imagine how not-legit eBay would be if so many people were getting screwed over by shady sellers because they didn't buy "insurance"?

You should offer the same protection for free. If you have to raise the cut you take from each sale by 1 or 2% then do it. Until you do, the whole "G2A Shield" thing is gonna continue you make you look shady af. The stories from people all over the internet who got ripped off on G2A because they didn't get the insurance aren't going away. I honestly think you'd make more money from all the new customers you'd get than you currently do from the whole insurance thing.

Of course, it is. That sub has gone to shit recently. I wish /r/pcgaming was more active than /r/pcmasterrace. If it was, I would have dropped that sub a long time ago.

Likely? That happened once or twice and all of the sudden every key from there is stolen?

Of course, it is. That sub has gone to shit recently. I wish /r/pcgaming was more active than /r/pcmasterrace. If it was, I would have dropped that sub a long time ago.

>doesnt change the fact that keys you buy on G2A are likely someone else's hard earned money that got stolen

Likely? That happened once or twice and all of the sudden every key from there is stolen?

once or twice?

have you seen how many game developers and companies like microsoft have said "these keys are not legally obtained"?

maybe you dont pay attention to news or something?

Too much of a crap shoot. I know I'm late but that is exactly what I am sitting here thinking when I saw this site... The whole "pay for protection" seems like a shady business practice. If I had a business, I would make sure ALL my customers had a wonderful & protected experience so they could return business. Like Ebay! The whole notion that if you don't pay for some "Shield" than you are practically on your own,"rolling the dice" and could loose.. turns me away. I got more faith in hitting the lottery or a slot machine before this.

Reminds me of (If you've ever played Blackjack) @ a Casino and the dealer ask "Would you like to purchase Insurance?" Always say NO!

This is known as a "Sucker's Bet," to make more money for the House/Casino..  Now you lose twice ; )
