Is this good thermal paste?

VoyexTech

I am purchasing this thermal paste and I am wondering if it is any good? Also how many uses can I expect to get from this one tube?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00405DHG0/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3JR0YCXC6EG04

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

a lot of uses, trust me. you're only gonna put around a pea sized amount so it'll last you quite a long time.

Basically all named pastes are much of a muchness and will do the job just fine .  This looks to be JUST a named product maybe not as high end as E.G Ice Diamond or Artic silver or... but will probably do the job.  A tube of this size (what exactly is its size) will be good for an application, then a "oh I mucked up" clean it off and reapply a few times/proccesors however opened tubes of paste should not be kept unused for months, better to ditch any left over(IMHO) and buy new next time you need it (IN A HOME SITUATION).

There are several videos by LMG on thermal paste.  I think the big takeaway is 'don't sweat it' , method or stuff used (within limits) doesn't actually matter that much .

Yes, the compound is good. I purchased it two years ago and it's still holding up well. I replaced the goop every year and my CPU hasn't overheated.

If you can, you should replace your GPU paste with this one. I tested it with my GTX 960SSC and it hasn't thermal throttled once, even under load.

In the end, paste is just paste. If it cuts the job, it's good enough.

Yeah I heard it is hard to apply is that true and any tips for application?

Application is simple enough, just like any other paste if you've done it. Press down, and put a pea size amount on the CPU. Then evenly press down with the heatsync. Screw the heatsync (or press the clips down if you have Intel stock) in a cross pattern until secure.

DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THE HEATSYNC, IT CAN DAMAGE THE PINS

If you're really not sure, check out the video they did on it.
