If I could only buy from one online retailer for technical parts, I would choose no other than newegg. Best customer support on earth, they make apple's customer support look like 2 year olds.

They truly are my favorite people to buy from. I trust them 100%.

Sorry for asking this but i can't find any warranty periods for the card on newegg's website. Does it have the standard 3 years warranty for this particular card if i purchased it and shipped it to singapore?

Every product has different return policies/warranties. You can buy a warranty from newegg or you can check in the products warranty tab what the per-existing warranty covers and how long.

Newegg was great during the days when they used FedEx.

The last time I bought something from Newegg was Christmas of 2014.  I had to RMA a product I bought and they made me feel like a criminal.  I waited 3 weeks just for the APPROVAL of the RMA.  I even had to fight with them about who should pay for the return shipping.

They were expecting me to pay for the shipping on a defective product them sold.

Yet last time I bought a defective product from Amazon, within 30 seconds of my phone call, they said they were going to cross ship a replacement to me at no cost.

I was like WOW!  I wouldn't touch Newegg with a 10 foot pole.

It is a shame but Newegg has gone downhill significantly in the past say 7 yrs. They used to be the best in the biz IMO but as someone else mentioned in this thread their RMA policies & customer support started changing for the worst when they stopped using Fed-Ex as a shipping option. I doubt the 2 have anything to do with each other but they both do happen to coincide. TBH though newegg is still a very reliable place to buy from & while they make you jump through way more hoops than they used to for RMAs they still grant them in most situations. The shipping is a pain now though as you do not get any options other than speed of delivery. If you order through newegg it will be shipped via UPS or USPS (I'm guessing strictly UPS for international shipping?) which has been a huge turn off for me as I have always preferred Fed-Ex especially for fragile packages.

Newegg is still a decent company, but they have definitely gone down hill since my first order from them many many years ago.  Just like any company, over time they found ways to do things cheaper without necessarily passing those costs savings onto the costumer.

The first few years that I used them there was no need to pay extra money to get stuff out the door the same or next day.  Years later they started the rushed processing fee.  Then came a degradation to shipping in general.

Don't get me wrong, comparatively speaking, Newegg is still good, but they have definitely changed for the worse over the years.

I've been shopping at NewEgg for... um... well probably a lot longer than most of you have known what a computer is. ;-)  They've gone massively downhill since I first started shopping with them.  The primary fault, from what I can see: all of the third-party distributors they're contracting out to now.  They never used to do that; anything you ordered from NewEgg came directly from NewEgg.  But over the last couple of years, they've begun trying to mimic Amazon's very successful business and distribution model of subbing some of the stuff out.

Amazon is better at managing their distributors (and punishing, harshly the ones that screw up) than NewEgg is.  My recommendation: if you buy from NewEgg, make sure the part you're getting is coming from NewEgg.  If so, you'll likely have no issues getting it quickly and/or getting it covered should something break.  If they sub it out to someone else, all bets are off.

A great alternative to to go to Fry's Electronics or Best Buy.

Both stores now match online prices.  There's no need to RMA either.  Just walk into a store with the defective product and get it exchanged or a refund.

I hate to say it, but I agree.

Brick and mortar set-ups are infinitely more convenient and accepting of returns and refunds. Selection is the only concern.

newegg has its issues but i trust them more than best buy , here in seattle, WA best buy sells almost no PC hardware , last time i was there they had some corsair laptop ram , headsets, and mice/keyboards. The closest frys is about a hour and a half by car and 2.5hrs by bus. id love to be able to say support frys considering when i lived in AZ they were my go to spot for hardware , but over the years once i moved newegg filled the hole that not being able to get to frys left. after about 5 years of using newegg i have had almost no issues ( only problem was a DOA xfx card , which i would blame on xfx since the 3 times i have purchased xfx products they have all died within a month.). a while back i ordered a case from a sub contractor for newegg through the new egg site and had no issues , it even shipped faster than they said it would (they told me a week, it took 3 days). so overall i think newegg has its one off issues here and their but ive had more issues with amazon in a month than i have with newegg in just over 5 years.

Yup.  That's why in my quest for a 390, my only choices so far are gigabyte or asus.

Sapphire, Power Color, Sparkle, and HIS are nowhere to be found in stores.

I've never heard of NewEgg Singapore (not sure if they're the same company?) so I'd check into that. I spent $30k with NewEgg from 2002-2003 and 2011, but they screwed the pooch horribly on my last $3-4k worth of orders in 2010/2011 and then their customer service dropped the ball so horribly, that I closed my NEPA and haven't been back, since.

The above, and when they screwed HardOCP a number of years back, has me not using them and not recommending them. Luckily, Kyle Bennett (HardOCP) has created HoverHound to solve this problem.

For info on how they screwed HardOCP:

I've had online orders at BestBuy.com that never arrived, weeks after their estimated arrival date, and when I call Best Buy I'm told "oops, we don't have it in stock and it's coming from the manufacturer... some day. No clue when."

Never. Again.

My local best buy has a gaming pc section. It's outfitted with 970's, 390x's, the works.

It's actually pretty dope.

But, I'm just glad we all have options and have found things that work for us as individuals. I will never purchase another thing from newegg. They have completely fucked up a RMA. I am 2 months deep and they still haven't rectified it.
