I hate Google.

How can I change my youtube display name WITHOUT changing my google minus name and WITHOUT creating a second channel? I want one freaking account for everything, make "iamdarkyoshi" my display name for everything that isnt personal, and use my normal name for like google contacts and shit.

 

How can I do this?

I have already migrated to the new tardgoogle account. Here is the option it gives when I change my name:

Just create a channel, everything you do on Youtube will be viewed as under that channel but the Google+ will also be logged in behind it. It's kind of like having multiple Google Accounts and switching between them.

This is the whole reason I linked the two in the first place, I always commented, watched, subscribed, etc. under the wrong profile because it is FREAKING STUPID

I really don't see the issue to be honest. I made the channel for display name, the same as the one here, and don't have any problems with it. 

 

It probably helps I don't use Google+ at all and basically only have the account for Youtube.

You cannot do what you asked. You need multiple accounts then.
