4k TV as extended Desktop Monitor

Sycend

Hello,

I done a long research to find a 4k TV wich is suitble as an extended Monitor. My needs are:
4k

48" to 50"

budget arround 500 to 800$

(i will never use it as a TV, manly for Gaming and Desktop tasks)

The Samsung 6 Series where on my watch list unitl i read about the trouble of the 50hz panel they put in each of them.

Anyone here with experience of the Samsung 6 Series or other models?

While i don't have any experience with the Samsung Series 6, i do have experience with Sony 60, 120, and 4k 60 hz led tvs and i have to say that the 120hz one i use is way better for gaming because the games are smoother and more fluid but the 4k one takes the prize for best picture quality with the 120hz second. The 60hz is just in a box in the stroreroom in the "waste of money" pile.

So i would say the 50hz would be bad for gaming unless you play those dinner dash apps i see my sister playing, for shooters you will want something faster.

Now if i were you i would get a 144hz monitor for the $800 and probably you can get one of the ultra wide on sale.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

108cm for 400$

HDMI 2.0 (4k@60FPS)

no smart TV, OS and bullshit like that (perfect for me and you, who need it only for display)

Can you provide an amazon or philips link to where I can check this out? Search isn't turning up much.
