Mineral oil cooled computer

I want to build a mineral oil cooled computer and this will be my first time doing this any advice? I dont want to spend way too much money if at all necessary, so should I buy a fish tank and then submerge the computer in that or a custom built case? Thanks in advance!

My computer components

- intel core i7 6700k

- asus z170-deluxe

- g. skill ripjaws V

- sapphire radeon Nitro 29 390

- 2x WD Blue 1tb HDD

- rmi series rm850i

- cryorig h5

you'll have to find a really nice fish tank, luke got lucky with his fish tank and linus&luke got lucky because they got a case from puget systems that they were no longer allowed to sell

I get it, mineral oil PCs are super dope, but they're not worth it. If you get any cracks or any issues with your hardware, you have to spend hundreds replacing all the oil, not to mention all the time to dry things. It's not worth it.

Honestly, it would probably be better to be like @Stefan1024 and build a kick ass passive rig. I would assume there is dramatically less maintenance as it's just heatsinks you're dealing with instead of expensive oil.

I understand the extra work that comes with mineral oil cooled computers, however I have my mind set on this. Does anyone have any advice that could help me build one, and does anyone know of a cheap radiator that could cool the oil? And p.s. the HDDs will go outside of the case, or ontop of it.

you could try getting a second hand radiator or AIO and just use the radiaotr part or even the pump :P

just flush it out a couple of times dont want gunk in that beautiful oil

GPU drivers giving you a hard time? Try this! (DDU)

Full copper radiators off eBay would be cheap enough.

If I were to buy a mineral oil pc case rather than a fishtank, which one would you think is best?
