Do i need to pug in the molex into Croshair V formula -z

So on the asus crosshair v formula -z motherboard, there is a 4 in molex.

Do I need to plug that in?

If I remember correctly, its there to help stabilize the voltage on your PCI-e lanes for SLI/CFX setups, but its not needed.
