3570k because i feel like i am able to play games and have a ton of other programs open and not have to worry about it affecting performance. I also have it because i like to use Adobe Photoshop occasionally for school. So i think that the 3570k pretty much meets my needs.

AMD Phenom x4 965 BE because that was the best chip for my price point and I'm kinda a AMD fan and someone told me that i3s weren't a great option. If i had more money I'd go 8350. I am open to options thou so I will try out Intel when or if i have the moneyzzz to do so :)

That's why I got a 8320 and not a 8350 I needed a new computer so bad.

Example: I have a FX 8320 because I stream and its a great chip for the money.

I have Phenom II x6 1045t because it was the cheapest upgrade path from my Phenom II x5 545 without changing motherboard. Since new mobo+cpu aren't really worth it compared to Phenom II x6 1045t performance and it only costed 130$ NEW! (example, FX 6300 new costs 15$ more here and is slower than Phenom in many tasks), I preffered to just get a cheap CPU 2 weeks ago.

Now i sit and wait until there's something ground-breaking in CPU industry that i can upgrade to. Not interested in AMD CPUs at all since they aren't really faster than Phenoms anyway, and Intel is too expensive for too little performance jump.

Bottom line:

In Intel Skylake we trust... unless AMD APUs offer ground-breaking computing performance in near future which is very unlikely, I say it's possible but... meh. It's just AMD, they haven't made a well-competing chip since Phenom II. Let's hope it changes.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

CPU: Phenom II x6 1045t ][ GPU: GeForce 9600GT 512mb DDR3 ][ Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P ][ RAM: 2x4GB Kingston 1333MHz CL9 DDR3 ][ HDD: Western Digital Green 2TB ][ PSU: Chieftec 500AB A ][ Case: No-name without airflow or dust filters Budget saved for an upgrade so far: 2400PLN (600€) - Initial 2800PLN (700€) Upgraded already: CPU

i7 3770k instead of i7 4770k and replaced the thermal compound on the cpu so it runs cool, i use it because it handles anything i throw at it and its more than enough, i could have gotten a i5 3570k but i think i wanted to show off i have a i7 :P

3570k, mainly for gaming and eventual video editing. Didn't go for (cheaper and on stock) 2500k/2600k cause of the worse memory controller, didn't go for the i7 cause hyperthreaded cores can bottleneck some games and it was a just good price/performance ratio, a good all rounder. I though about the 8350 but for some reason i prefeer PCI-E 3.0 and i've never had good experiences with friends's AMD builds (fx-7300 + 8gb 1866 ram + msi 7750 had alot of OC issues and we had to RMA the first graphics card cause one the voltage regulators caught on fire)
