Posted February 22, 2016 I find that the clothing I wear has no effect, I don't think about it much. Unless of course, my work clothes are strangling me while I'm doing homework, then I change. Posted February 22, 2016 Where you're working will have more of an affect than clothing. I could be nude and still get stuff done. What do they know of England, who only England know? But it's inconsistent...... I'm most of the time more productive at school and sometimes more productive at home. Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it. Posted February 22, 2016 I think clothes absolutely have an effect on contraction I'm not a guy that likes wearing a suit (other than to a wedding ect.) really can't stand them especially when trying to concentrate on somthing I much prefer either jeans and a tshirt or best case when I want no disraction "sweat pants" or joggers as I call them and a super baggy tshirt (I'm talking 2xl) i was always that kid in school getting bollocked for not having his uniform done up at school coz wearing a tie just bugs me. I lurk a lot
Posted February 22, 2016 Its a little weird for me. At work I wear pretty much whatever never normally smart clothes as I spend 50% in an office and the other 50% out on the blast Furnaces. SO I just wear T-shirt, jeans and hoody. It's more the work environment that makes me more productive. However at home I can get work done although easily distracted. But if I get into lounge pants and a dressing gown. No work can be done! See my Build here! Posted February 22, 2016 It depends on what I'm doing. When I am at work I need people to respect me and trust that what I say is correct. So I am more productive at work when I am wearing a shirt and tie. If I was at work in jeans and a tee shirt I would get less respect from the patients and thus be less productive. When I am building something in my shop a shirt and tie would be a distraction because I would be worried about destroying good cloths. I think Its about being comfortable more than the cloths your wearing. I am comfortable wearing a shirt and tie so I have no problem working in one. 01010010 01101111 01100010 01001101 01100001 01100011 01010010 01100001 01100101
 Posted February 22, 2016 I definitely feel less comfortable in my smart work shirt, smart trousers, leather belt and brogues (matching obviously) I mean, smart yes, comfy no I work in head office, so I dont meet customers or clients, therefore my appearance is not relevant to my job, I just have to sit around being uncomfortable all day Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb, 4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
 Posted February 22, 2016 As a rule from observing others, I'd say putting on "work" clothes is an important part of putting yourself in the "work" mindset. This is especially important for people who work from home, where their work and home lines can all too easily be crossed.
