  1. I would try doing a fresh install of windows and seeing if that fixes it. An SSD would definitely help but its not going to make games perform any better it's just going to fix load times.
  2. Yes, you need to find the exact same memory stick that you are using now. Even getting a different timing could give you stability issues with your system. I know I'm not the original person that replied to you but I thought I would try and help.
  3. I’m cleaning my pc out and changing thermal paste on CPU and GPU, usually I would use IC Diamond on my CPU but sadly I’m out of it and don’t feel like spending $17 on another tube. I’ve never changed it on my GPU but I know it’s time for it to be changed. What’s the best Thermal Paste for my GPU and CPU without getting IC Diamond? I’ve used Arctic Silver before but I’m also out of it as well so I was looking into other kinds. Thanks in advanced for for any help.
  4. My budget will be around $2500-2800 possibly more. I’m going to spend what I need to spend to be happy. Yeah I’m redoing the whole system. Even the PSU and storage to, I’m going to give my PSU and storage to my fiancé so she doesn’t have to spend as much money on a system. Not a fan of GPU encoding so I’m trying to get the best performance with CPU encoding while gaming. What research? Also, I’m not going to spending that much on a CPU. I have no need for a CPU of that tier anyway. I’m just going to be gaming for myself mostly and when streaming it’ll j
  5. I quit paying attention to computer hardware for a while, but I remember Ryzen being a decent choice a few years ago if you wanted to game and stream on the same system. Well im trying to plan a new build but I’m not sure what CPU I should be starting with. Next Gen Ryzen will be coming out around the time I plan to build this system but is Ryzen still a good choice for the gaming/streaming combo machine? Comparing the current chips Ryzen 2700X to i7 9700k(?) which is better in gaming and streaming at the same time?
  6. Gaming Chairs aren't really good. They're okay chairs that are overpriced. If you play for really long hours at a time you are better off getting a proper office chair that's meant for sitting in like 8 hours a day or more not a DX Racer which is only comfy for about 2 hours then it just because a pain. Like geo3 said, Herman Miller. Very comfy chairs with great support for long sessions.
  7. The games aren't for everyone. From pure gameplay aspects Assassins Creed 1 is a weird glitchy mess but isn't every first game in a series for PC? Assassins Creed 2 is the best gameplay wise overall. Brotherhood had some fun machanics, the ship mechanics in Black Flag were really cool but unless you plan on trying to become a huge Assassins Creed fan and follow everything in the series then they probably aren't for you. To a die hard fan the games are fantastic, to the average gamer that just wants to play something fun you won't really enjoy it that much. However, Origins pretty m
  8. latency is only an issue in Nier for me, I have more latency issues from my Xbone controller and it's a One S controller.
  9. I have the first one that came out. Day one PS4 owner
  10. Only problem I've ever had with DS4windows is when playing GTA V it would cause my pc to bluescreen. Other than that its great.
  11. It works great for me? Way better than the Xbox One controller. The only game I've had problems with support for DS4 are Nier: Automata. The DS4 is just sluggish in that game but everything else like Dark Souls, GTA, Ori, LEGO Games, and Naruto Shippuden the DS4 is way better than the Xbone controller for me. Honestly though, the Scuf PS4 Impact controller is the way to go though. 360 body with PS layout and has full windows support. Pricy but worth it because of the shape and layout of the controller.
  12. PS4 controller if you're using steam for the games. The controller layout is a lot better and feels way better to use over the Xbox One controller. The Xbox one controller though is supported across all games you could play on your PC unlike the DS4 where it can only be used with Steam.
  13. did you put popcorn inside your system? could be overflowing with popcorn man. really though need more details as to whats happening to be able to help.
  14. Want's high end gaming desktop so he chooses a power supply powerful enough to power two computers of this caliber but only puts 16GB of RAM..... Welp, he's got his priorities straight for sure.
