Need help with PSU mains cable

RyanFawcett

Just bought myself a Silverstone SST-ST55F-G, according to the documentation and sticker on the PSU it requires 8amps, im currently using a 13amp fused standard IEC cable (UK plug)

Is this okay?

Its completely fine. all it means that if it exceeds a certain amount of amps (due to a power surge) the fuse will blow.

Should be ok. but if your not sure you can replace the fuse with a 3 or 5 amp fuse too.

Power (watts) = Voltage x Current (Amp)

A 3amp should allow aprox 750W and a 5amp should allow aprox 1200w
