Hi, I'm new here but have been following the youtube channel for a little over 2 years now. I'm reading some very informative posts and would like to save them in case I forget. Is there a way to save specific posts so that I may re-read them for future reference? Thanks!

I've been on other forums before but would that mean that every time someone posts, I'd get a notification?

You can turn off notifications, it gives you options when you press the follow button.

I believe you can set the notification options, set it to not send any notifications.

You can Follow or book mark the page.

If you follow you will receive notifications but you can turn off the notifications in settings.

It's possible to follow a topic without getting notifications - click the follow button to see the options. The purpose of that is so that it shows up in your "Content I Follow" activity feed, even if you don't want to be notified about it.

That would give me way too many! It's a nice idea though.

Ah. Hmm... So no way to actually save them in the same format?

I've been to other forums where I used to bookmark the original posts but then they would delete the post or somehow the thing would be edited... then I'd lose what I read.

You can right-click the page and "Save As" which will save a copy of the page to your computer, which you can open up at any time from your computer. Even if you are not connected to the internet.

Yup that's what I used to do for really old threads that could be downed at any time. I guess I'd have to revert to that? I also pressed the follow button with the option of no notifications from those who suggested it :)
