Do you have a copy of win7 or 8.1?

If it is the OS then going to Windows 7 should cure it. I currently have a GTX 275 installed in my PC at the moment and they share the same drivers with the 9000 and 8000 series

Windows 10 is pretty good at finding drivers for you. Go into device manager and double click on your graphic card.

Click on Driver tab, then click on Update Driver

Click Search Automatically for Updated driver software

Let windows do its stuff and if there are drivers from Nvidia, it will grab it from them and install it. If not, it will use its own latest drivers for your graphic card.

This means Nvidia has stopped supporting it and you're using the very last driver for your graphic card. Be happy they even let you run this card in Windows 10.

Don't feel bad buddy. I just had a 2 week old psu fry on me but with your problem that card is damaged. I've seen that before on other cards. You could try another OS but I'm pretty sure that card is bad. It could be refurbished tho but not worth the trouble.

From your op, nvidia provided the drivers

. Might want to check the date on it.error code 43 means its a faulty gpu.

Windows is shit.

In six years, the troubleshooter worked twice, both times it was just to enable windows aero for me.

Everything I have to do inside of Windows, I have to do myself. It doesn't help for shit. I've never had it get me a correct driver, ever. Never had it help a single thing.

Hence my motto:

"Fuck windows"

I still only use Windows, but whatevers. I don't want to have to use OSX, nor do I feel like using Linux, Linux is a fucking pain.

I'm saying win10 is pretty good at finding drivers, it even downloads from the manufactures site. Any OS below that, I manually find the drivers myself.
