Do the Gtx 960 keep being a good Gpu to play most of the games in 1080P 60Hz?

Nano is better than 980

Because this forum is a AMD indoctrination center.

Start a topic calling Nvidia evil, it says up even when multiple moderators are tagged.

Say something bad about AMD, you attacked and issued a warning if you defend yourself.

You should have seen us when the 970 came out, it was the price-to-performance king on launch, we were all shilling the hell out of it.

And then the scrypt mining craze of Q1 2014 disappeared, AMD dropped the price of their Hawaii cards to the floor, the 970 VRAM thing came out.

We shill whatever has the most raw performance across the board for the price. You just happen to be arguing with us at a time when the Tahiti cards are still p2p kings of the hill. If the 960Ti is released for a good deal and it performs substantially better than its competitor for the price, we will gladly recommend it to everyone we see.

And then AMD will drop the 290X prices again. Again. AGAIN.

Not really.
980 Ti is 15fps above a Fury X in some cases
380 is 18fps above a 960 in some cases
It all depends on the game and bench

No. it happens because the hardware is superior. Simple as that

OCed 960 barely equals a stock 380

So when I have issues it's user error because Nvidia are flawless? This is my 4th OS install. Definitely not user error.

You said my issues with AMD were user error, because AMD reasons. Your memory can't be THAT bad?

And I put a joke sign on the post.

Did I? I tried to help IIRC and you were also crossfiring a custom PCB with a reference PCB from past gen. There were several people who pointed out that was the root.

Also - I even changed drives to eliminate the chance of the cheap drive having issues.

You did, but I was joking. Kicking your onions.

Your issues with your laptop have nothing to do with a 380. ZERO

This forum is not here to sell AMD cards. It's here to help those looking for advice. It's embarrassing that people get their shot jumped for wanting to spend the money they earned the way they want. Completely embarrassing.

Keep pounding the AMD drum and ignoring everything wrong they do. You'll create the next Nvidia ;)

Watch all games and look at stock vs stock. OC is just to show that even a stock 380 is the same or better than a OCed 960

I believe IN you but I don't believe you. (grammar nazi here, sieg heil!)

Fact of the matter is that benchmarks are done in a specific time and any bench before November 2015 is invalid now because of significant driver improvements

Why don't you say that later! I gonna search a little bit now, but if it is only drivers i think that they will fix it.

Latter = last thing
Later = time phrase
:)

Nvidia drivers are as good as they can be currently. Maxwell relies on heavy driver optimization since it's the weaker architecture where a lot of CUDA cores were cut to meet TDP and power requirements. Simple.

For god's sake,stop fighting!First of,either you want to believe it or not,380 is better than the 960,theoretically,in most games.There will be some games where the 960will get some additional headroom just because of the optimisation,say for example a PhysX game.Now,CUDA vs S.P is something entirely diferent.As Don showed you,AMD's counterparts are better in some programms due to optimisation and coding.You can compare CUDAS and S.Ps directly to one another.

Amen.

Seriously, the driver thing is getting so old. Only another AMD fan will be foolish enough to ignore that Nvidia released their own driver as well.
