I think our brains function like RAM, cut the power even for a second and any information (along with our OS) it was holding is gone. As medicine becomes more and more advanced we can change out more and more components and prolong the life of the system but once the brain has its power cut there is no coming back. 

 

After death we're nothing but a bag of meat and bones.

I say our dreams might be a window to our after life or something like that.

I'm not a religious person at all, I was raised a christian, but I refuse to believe in a supernatural being created everything, and that there is a magical gateway of peace and harmony waiting for me.

 

I also refuse to believe that after you die, it's nothing. Because say you get shot in the head, and you die. Do you know that you're dead, what happens? Does your life start over as someone entirely new?

It has been said that when you die, you see a bright white light. I was reading about a white hole (black hole that basically leads to another universe). What if when you die, the white light that you see is the white hole bringing you into another universe.

I don't know exactly what, but I think something happens after you take that last breath.
