£5000 Gaming Computer

So I've recently been thinking of upgrading from my Alienware 14 laptop to a desktop pc.

I have £5000 pounds to spend on it, and I would use it mainly for gaming but also for coding and things like that.

I would also need peripherals for it and three monitors. Can anyone recommend a complete build that I could use.

£5000 for a machine you will be only gaming on? You only need about a half of that for a very powerful gaming machine.

It wouldn't be just for gaming and I want it for work as well as that. Equally I would be wanting to run games like the witcher 3 in max settings in 4k

well "coding and things like that" require barely a dual core cpu. explain more what you what youre doing exaclty. are you running multiple VM's for coding? do you need to render stuff?

Please don't spend £5000 unless you're spitting money...

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You won't be able to run Triple 4K monitors smoothly though, no matter how much you spend.

I mainly just want one 4 k monitor the rest can be 1080p as long as they are 144hz

Are you sure you don't want to go with triple 1440P 144Hz monitors?

I think you'll regret a 4K monitor with two lower-resolution monitors either side of it...

Also, you can't currently get 144Hz 4K monitors at this time.

Alright, two builds here, not much changed between them except for monitors.

The first one here, is running a single 60hz 4k ips, and dual 60hz 1440p ips panels, for all that color depth. Having dual 144hz 1080p makes no sense, as if you have one on each side of the 4k like a rational person then you won't be able to run games across all three, or anything like that, meaning that 144hz butter goes to waste.

The second one, is the same 4k panel, but with dual 144hz 1080p panels as requested, not my personal choice, but it's not my money.

You also will pretty much never be able to run triple 144hz 1440p, that's harder to run than triple 4k xD

three 60hz ips 1440p panels would be best, probably with something like dual 980ti's or fury x's, at that resolution they will both run at about the same speed, unless you overclock the 980ti, then it edges out a bit.

Yes, sorry. Don't know what I was thinking!

To OP, I'd also recommend going triple 60Hz 1440P.

Alternatively, you could get a single 4K 60Hz monitor?
