First attempt at building my own pc

Tuflan

So I decided, that I wanted a new PC. My budget is around 900USD.

I have tried researching as much as possible before putting this together.
I am only missing a case, but I can't decide on one at the moment :)

I would love to hear your thoughts on this build

If you can push your budget, a few dollars over $900, I'd recommend a liquid cooler : good for serious overclocks.

Otherwise, the partlist is just great!

Good luck!

Nothing to see here ;)

I'd recommend a 380x rather than a 960.

Get 8Gb of RAM and use the saving to get a 380X

cut down the PSU to something aroung 550-600W and cut down something else to get a R9 390 or a GTX 970 in there. like really. a 960 at that budget is a litle weak

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

That's kinda true. 750W is for taking on multi-card setups, not for a single gtx 960. Corsair also has an RM 550W...

Nothing to see here ;)

Do reconsider your choice of power-supply. I've had many people tell me that the CX-series units are awful, and ditch them just when they are in the middle of a hurricane...
