Im looking to upgrade...

This is my setup at the moment. Im not great with computers but I am slowly getting used to it and learning new things. I got my GTX 770 around 2-3 years ago and it has been performing well. The extra 8GB of RAM I installed at christmas and it has been great. I am wondering what to upgrade next. I have an overkill PSU with 750 Watts and my motherboard is coping so i am thinking of getting an I7 processor. If anyone could help me out with potential upgrades which arent too pricey but will last me a couple years with the new games coming in I would greatly appreciate it. If my setup will be able to run things for the next few years without stress please tell me but I am really looking for a compatible I7 processor but any other reccomendations will be fine. Thanks you.

What exact PSU is it? You could get like a used 290x or if you want new a 390x, then fine a used i5 3570k or i7 3770k, though can your motherboard Overclock? Also if it can you can get an aftermarket CPU cooler and an SSD would be nice also. Though a CPU may not be needed right now and can be added later, I think a 290x or 390x would be a much higher improvement.

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe

The RM750 is good, a 290x and 390x are GPUs. Your 770 would be fine though it only has 2GBs of VRAM which is becoming slim for today's standards.

which model is it? aftermarket/refernce cooler? If you have the box, you could send a picture if you don't know it. Here in Germany, you can see these cards for around 150-200€ on ebay

you should be able to sell it for around 150 bucks, maybe a bit more (as long as you have all the accessoirs and it's in a good and clean condition)
