Posted February 3, 2016 TLDR is it CSGO, or my PC I've have been playing csgo at 200+ fps on my rig for the last 2 1/2 months. Last night the game was unplayable at 60 fps. (slow sad violin music why me? ) I tried to verify files, didn't work. I tried a few other things, I ended up doing a reinstall. Now I am at work looking though csgo reddit. I have come across 6 posts in the last 24 hours. All the same, Huge framerate drops. All on higher end rigs. Anyone have any idea's. me) BTW super new to computers/pc gaming in general my specs i5 6600k (not OCed) gtx 960 (small OC) 16g ddr4 500w psu krait 170 mobo Post from another sight, with same specs same problem http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2959476/huge-fps-drops.html links to 5 reddit posts, having similar issues, all started in the last 12 hours. https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43xq4x/framerate_dropped_dramatically_over_night/ https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43xot2/low_fps_with_970_and_i7_4790/ https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43ya8c/fps_constantly_fluctuates_while_playing/ https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43uuyf/fps_drops_giving_gamebreaking_advantage/ https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43uehz/fps_decreases_steadily_over_time/ I haven't tried other games yet, I probably should have as it could help with diagnosing problem.
