i7-4930k Overclocking in process !!

I wasn't sure how high a 'safe' voltage is which is why I didn't really want to go any higher. But if you guys are going upto 1.5v maybe I'm being a little conservative stopping at 1.310?

Yes indeed. I would recommend around 1.4 max for daily usage, although I do know people who have been running higher just fine.

Just got my new 4930K installed into my RIVE this afternoon and have been playing with the OC all day.  So far it looks like 4.7GHz @ 1.48V is the best I can do.  I tried 4.8GHz but instant BSOD at 1.5V and don't really want to exceed that just yet (Tuning Plan makes you wait 30 days before you can use it).  I guess I'm a bit disappointed because I ran my 3960X at 5GHz for nearly two years and although the 4.7GHz performance of this 4930K is impressive, its still slower and I've lost a lot of performance in the benches.  Anybody having any luck with changing the BCLK straps?  That's about all I have left to try...

Bios update that got pushed today for my board has had MASSIVE stability improvements!

Where I would take 1.4v before I am now down to around 1.3 completely stable.

I tried the Asus TPU switch on my P9X79 pro.  It increased the BCLK to 125, and kept the multiplier at 34.  I don't know what the voltage was and only put it on prime95 for a few minutes to see what would happen to the temps.  After about 5 minutes only one thread was at 100% and the other weren't doing anything.

I would also like to say this is my first attempt at any overclocking, and I really haven't got much of a clue.
