dominator vs vengance

ok so I'm hoping some one can tell me why dominator ram is £80 pound more then vengeance, when vengeance runs at the same MHz as the dominator and has the same latency

shourly the vengeance is better for the price so why does every one chooses dominator ram over vengeance ?

The Dominator kit has a more advanced heatsink, better memory chips and are better for overclocking, that's the difference I can tell. Whereas the Vengeance kit is more of a basic kit without tackling too much into OC.

Dominator Platinum does use better components but the main reason for the pricing is because of aesthetics and its reputation.

Well apart from one batch (which are Samsung D-Die) they're both based on Hynix MFR ICs. Just the Dominators are binned.

You're paying for the name and a heatsink for the most part, and the binning I guess, but MFRs are only good for raw frequency.

There are objectively way better DDR4 DIMMs to get based on B-Die Samsung (Like Trident-Zs) if you really cared that much about the performance.

Dominator has isses with cpu coolers because of massive size. Beside something extreme performance or going for looks which from top looks nothing much so most people vengeance is best.
