Cheap Tech You Use?

Just a quick, random question, what's some cheap tech you guys use currently or used for a long time? 

I know my 10000 MaH Battery Bank is my favorite, what about yours?

My current laptop that was about 250$ when I bought it. It has many issues, I just refuse to retire it.

My mouse bungee, and my headphone DAC/AMP combo that was only $60. I also use all of the free stuff that I use my charisma to make customer services feel bad for me.

I also have a 5000mah power bank that I got at best buy for $5. Other than that, I use a usb hub with a RJ45 jack to connect everything to my surface and a MDP to DVI cable to connect to my monitor. I also have an alarm clock that is also a bluetooth speaker that I use daily

You need an optical input on your motherboard or soundcard:

It's really good when you use it you set the Windows volume up to 100% and just use the knob to adjust your volume. It sounds really nice compared to onboard and can get a lot louder.

So it actually sounds better VS just normal audio?

It's an A4Tech mouse, pretty generic, I don't know if it's legit though. IIRC I bought this last 2012 or 2013.

My keyboard is around that price as well (based on the brand, no real proof), it came with the second hand PC we bought back in 2008 (i think).

Subjectively, yes. You have to have pretty good audio equipment and high-quality music to feel the difference a lot of the time. I use an Encore mDAC and, although I can still more than tolerate most onboard sound, my laptop is why I got an external amp. I'd suggest one if you really want to get a better experience from decent headphones.

This cheap led flashlight you usually see at checkout counters. Helps finding stuff that falls under my desk.

A cheap bluetooth audio receiver (forgot name now,  but cost about £10) for when I use my projector so I don't have a massive aux cable from my laptop to the speakers.

Not sure if it counts but i got a cheap Olympia SM3 from a garage sale and it still works perfectly fine.

Well hmm i can't say my PC because it was bought years back when it waxs certainly a good deal but not what i call cheap.

 

Perhaps my GTX 580 at 55 British Pounds.
