[PSA] Two years after you buy a computer it slows down

DXMember

Two years after you buy a computer it starts to slows down
So... this is run as a filler during local news in the morning.

https://youtu.be/jFi-Bb9IxuY
(how do you media....)

Here are the litteral quotes from the video:
After two to three years after you buy a Computer it starts to noticably slow down,
one of reasons for that is the deterioration of random access memory data troughput ability.

I will show you how to fix this problem:
Lay down your Computer on the side,
Take the cover off.
Find your RAM slot *guy pokes it with a screwdriver* - There it is!
Release the tabs, pull out the PCB and lay it down on a table.
Start cleaning the contact pins with an eraser from one side, and from the other side.

By doing so we are removing the oxidation layer from the contact pins,
Which is the reason why your Computer laggs.
The residue is cleaned off by an old, soft toothbrush.

And here we go - the pins are shiny again.
Install the RAM into the slots, secure the tabs,
And close the chasis cover.

You can plug your Computer back and turn it on, NOW IT WILL WORK A LOT FASTER.

So... your thoughts on this voodoo magic trick?
Have you heard of something like this? I mean "the deterioration of random access memory data troughput ability" or the fact that gold plating oxidises?
Do you have stories to share like this?

But that coating might only increase resistance to the ram causing fractions of a millisecond more delay between information being accessed, added, or removed. Something you will never notice.

This is really stupid. No one should possibly be this dumb.

Hmm. 3: It appears.. as though they need to get a descrete GPU? Maybe thats why My 760 doesnt get as many FPS as a 980ti. Let me try this to see if i can spruce her pins right up 3:~
