Name a non-xeon 8 core. AMD doesn't come close.

how so?

all games will recognize it as a quadcore

if you open up task manager and set it to show CPU utilization by core, you get four graphs

not a quad core , and will not perform as well as a quad core either.

Logical cores are not as strong as physical ones. Task manager shows both logical and physical cores, which is why it shows as four cores.

the only game where a quadcore is actually justified is GTA V

the rest are just unoptimized bullcrap

cod locked it game to four cores I blieve and wouldn't start up unless you had 4 threads, pention people got pissed, cracked the game and it runs just as well on the pentiums

crap developers and bullshit marketing is too strong you can't rally fight it, so get a 5960X
