Hey everyone, just wanted to know if this is a good purchase? I was looking for a 120 Gb SSD and I came across this, is this OK for game storage?

I have heard very bad things about this SSD but if it has a 3 year warranty it should be OK right?

Any information on this SSD would be very helpful! :)

Not really. Kingston pulled a "bait and switch" by silently changing the nand flash, which just made the drive slower, much slower. I tested one, at times it is as slow as a HDD. Honestly, there are other options that are either slightly more expensive or the same price, which don't perform like crap.

But compared to a normal SSD and a normal HDD, it's closer in speed to a HDD.

the disk gets filled up

of course it will be slower

i only uses like 40% of the total capacity

also usually bigger capacity have a slightly faster read/write speed but both will be equal in access speed

no

SSDs do not get slower the more they are filled up unless you're using over 95% capacity in which case TRIM cannot run properly

you go ahead and run crystaldiskmark and see for yourself how far from 500MBps you are xD
