How many do you have?

because he runs a company, and has  a bunch of video editors... Also he has sponsors...

I'd never buy a titan.... well maybe...

I'm going to keep it short and sweet:

He needs them to make money, not run Crysis 3 in VR.

I think he had about... 8? Maybe, not sure. I think he might of sent them back though.

For LMG? Because that 12GB of VRAM can come in handy for digital content creation (3D rendering, video editing, etc). Having 6GB of VRAM these days when you scale your projects to their level is not enough now. If you run out of VRAM, issues can arise (such as textures not loading or the file not opening at all).

He's got six video editors, all of them with Titan Xs and a couple of them are coupled with Quadros as well.

Because people buy them from seeing him use them, therefore companies provide them to him.

Ok, I think its a little unfair how YouTube stars and celebrity's like Linus get free stuff, all the time. Literally Linus could probably get any computer part he wanted if he asked and said he would review it.

Linus has them because nvidia gives them to him for free

One for each editor one for him and probably a test one too.

linus' own rig at the office is actually the fishtank, whatever gpu went into that one.

No, his personal computer.

that'd make sense, because linus is linus, and the titans all had a waterblock.

Well, they're free to him, he doesn't have to do anything specific with them to get them - we are the product, not him

but if he does not reach the product he doesnt get hi titans.

while yes he doesnt need to do a thing for them "physically" but his entire fanbase knows nvidia gave him a bunch of titans and he loved them. that wouldnt be the case without him talking about them.

Unfair compared to whom? Linus didn't just wake up in the morning and get a million subs... he's been at this for years. He has earned an audience and companies like nvidia are interested in showing us their products, which means throwing them in Linus' general direction whenever he asks (or doesn't)

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
