How to know if I bent some pins?

I was installing my Q9550. It slightly didn't line up, so carefully made it fit. The system does boot up, correct proc speed, no errors etc. What would be the things that would have told me that I have bent things?

You look at the pins closely and see if they look bent?

I honestly thought that was obvious.

If everything seems to be fine, you probably didn't bend any pins anyways.

if pins were bent you wouldn't be typing on a random forum as you'd have no system to do so with

Well the pins arnt microscopic so it shouldn't be that hard to tell if you bent one. But if you did use some tweezers and watch some videos on how to carefully fix it.

But if it fits in it usually means you didn't bend it.

Also, how do I screw in this cooler with spring screws? I try to do an X pattern but the last screw doesn't fully thread in. Do I have to remove the mobo from the case then screw it in?

So long as your CPU is at good temps, then that last screw doesn't matter. What are your temps anyway?

I'm actually quite scared to look at them again. As maybe when I'm returning the CPU, I might bend pins
