First Build, But On A Budget

veech
Go to solution Solved by veech,

@TheRandomness , @theereal

What about this?  I think I'm liking the LED RAM cards that theereal suggested better, and I think I like the 390 for more performance (unless the 380x is better otherwise).

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qdrWNG

This will be my first build, and I need suggestions from you guys--the experts.  My budget is at $700 max, and I want this build to be built toward gaming (peripherals not included).  Green is my favorite color, so anything the green LED would be awesome!  One of the games that I will be playing with this new build is Black Desert.

Again, thanks for all you guys' times!

EDIT: I want this build to be upgrade-able, so that way in the future I can get better parts for it.  Also, I might be able to increase my budget by a tiny bit if you guys can convince me to lol.

He didn't ask for one.

If hes building a PC Its obvious he needs one, a computer Is a brick without the OS, It bothers me how everyone here conveniently leaves out the OS when building a build.

Sorry about the inconvenience guys!  I sort of took all of your suggestions into account, and I kind of came up with this.  I know it's a little over my budget, but I can starve for a couple of days lol!

EDIT:  Don't I need a CPU cooler?

CPU cooler comes with the CPU and since it's a locked sku you don't need an aftermarket one. Also, you can get the OS off of G2A or /r/microsoftsoftwareswap or whatever it's called for like $40.

Is it possible to save more money if I just throw out the green case and green memory cards, and buy green LED lights instead?  Also, is that site legit?

The case already comes with green LED fans and it's cheap for what it is and somehow G2A is legit.

That'd be fine.

Also, should I get a bigger PSU for future upgrades?

Nah. A bigger PSU like a 750 or 850W would only make sense for xfire/SLI.

Ah, alrighty then.  Thanks for the huge helps everybody! :))  Will keep y'all updated on how my build is going!
