What CPU Should I Upgrade To?

I Don't really know what kind of CPU I should upgrade to that's why I came here!

 

My CPU right know is an Amd A8 7650K Quad Core, which is overclocked to 4.20ghz.

 

My Motherboard Is a MSI A68HM Grenade.

 

(Additional Info)

I also have a 500 watt B psu

 

1 Stick of 8gb ddr3 Ram

 

And a GTX 750ti

a haswell i3 plus a z97 board for a future unlocked i5 would fit great

You see I want to play games like GTA 5 on atleast Medium to high settings at 1080p

Your current cpu is fine. What you would need to upgrade is your graphics card.

An APU isn't necessarily bad--the x4 980 ran at 55fps for GTA V and the oc'ed 7650k is even better.

At normal textures with a Titan X. He's not going to pull that kind of FPS with a 750 Ti.
