I remember paying $600 for the 1TB 850 pro version a little more than a year ago. SSD prices sure have dropped.

That's not a deal at all; they're regularly at that price or even lower.

Since Black Friday they have been hovering around the $85-$90 mark, So it is a slight discount in today's market.

They have been advertised at $70-80 pretty regularly for quite some time now.

Originally I thought this was a crazy low deal because they had a massdrop ('drop'?) that was the same thing for ~$85 last year. Then I remembered that 250GB is becoming the low size standard and are normally that price :/

Tempted, but I can wait for later via Amazon, etc. If it was in the 60s or lower I would insta-buy lol

Is it just me or are Massdrop deals not so hot any more. The last couple I've seen relating to tech was only slightly lower, or the same, as regular deals elsewhere.

Next Build: "Tyrion" (TBA)

Massdrop isn't very great anymore. I got my 850 EVO on Amazon for $70, and later saw a sale for $65.

I used to be quite active here.

I know it has been, I am just saying in the current market it isnt. Now newegg can throw up a newsletter with it on sale tomorrow but it isnt on sale right NOW anywhere that I know of.

Ya I'm pretty sure you can get it for the same price on Amazon and it'll be shipped a lot faster. So...

My Build: i7-4790K, 212 Evo, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600, Intel 730 240GB SSD, WD Blue 1TB, EVGA GTX 980Ti ACX 2.0, NZXT H440 Blue/Black, EVGA 650W 80+Gold.

Most of the time, it's not the computer, it's the person using it.

Such good deals. My 500GB EVO cost a little over $400 1.5 years ago. I only use it for OS, docs, games, and I can't even half fill the thing. 1TB will go a long way.

I haven't seen any Samsung 250gb SSDs at 75 or lower after Black Friday (which I stupidly did not buy any deals). Care to post a link to any of these so called deals on Amazon?
