I worked at my Uni's IT dept. and helped during move-in for new students setting up their computer, routers, etc.

I was working my way down a freshman hall, after dealing with gaggles of fools, I walked into a beautiful site. The roommates were probably HS friends and were settings up the most extreme battle station I've seen in a dorm room. Two full gaming PC's, 1 mid range backup/visitor pc, at least 2 laptops in sight (saw multiple laptop bags and power bricks) and 2 monitors per person with 1 huge TV above them 4...They were actually rearranging the room when I walked in to combine the desks with a fold up table one of them brought with them lol

I stood at the door in awe. They looked back at me and must've realized my look and just smiled xD My partner came up behind me and had the same reaction lol

I didn't build it all in one day. It happened over the course of a couple years. Most recent upgrades would be the pcie ssd and second set of 16 gb ram. I had the noctua fans for a while already. The price you see on pcpartpicker is just the price if you try to build it now and not the price I actually paid. In reality, I got all the parts when they had a really nice sale like Black Friday for CPU and Pcie SSD. Then random 72 hrs sales for ram and hard drives.

one of these days I'll get a CaseLabs case, but they're so expensive that it's hard for me to justify that kind of money for what's essentially a metal box. also the one you linked only had 2 PCI slots, so i wouldn't be able to use it
