Where to shop for "Last Year's" processors

Hello all,

I'm new here, and will post an introduction sometime shortly.

To get to the nitty gritty of this post, I've been hounding the internets for LGA 1155 socket Xeon E-3 processors, but most are still near their initial sale value.

I've gone through Ebay, alot of OEM sites, Microcenter, Fry's, NCIX, Google Shopping, and other various sites like Newegg.

Does anyone have any idea where these (now considered outdated) processors could be found for a reasonable price? (under $300 for a mid-tier 4 core 8 thread middle tier Xeon E-3 V1)

Any and all help would be great!

Whats funny is, Craigslist is one of the best places, theres many people who sell old dusty systems and they are clueless to what's inside. Most of the time, they undervalue their stuff.

Here in Dallas(nearest large city) not many people sell their higher end computers, or are ignorant enough to let an i7 walk out the door.

I've seen this add on E-bay: here

However that's like the only listing thats a genuine steal.

I'll keep looking however, this G850 has got to go.  <_<

Appreciate all of the help and fast responses guys!
