5.1 surround sound questions...

For 5.1 speakers, are the rear speakers and centre speaker supposed to be slightly quieter than the front speakers or are all the speakers supposed to play at the exact same volume?

It's supposed to be at the exact same volume, but sometimes because of different distances you have to adjust the volume of individual speakers to achieve equal volume.

volumes should be the same, but if  you prefer it quieter thats just fine
