EVGA GTX 670 FTW overhaul

I recently purchased a used GTX 670 FTW card off Craigslist.  Before I use the card I'm going to replace the thermal compound, but to be on the safe side I will also be changing the thermal pads.  Does anyone know the thickness that EVGA uses for this card?

thermal pads are thermal pads... just get one from wherever and use that...

 

i dont think the thickness matters for it.

thermal pads are thermal pads... just get one from wherever and use that...

 

i dont think the thickness matters for it.

it does, thermal pads that are too thin will not contact both the component and the heatsink at the same time

 

usually for GPUs they use 0.5mm or 1mm thermal pads

i would get 1mm just to be safe

Thanks!  Any suggestions on brands for thermal pads, or does it even matter.
