Want Ram type is this

Dear Master race my friend is wanting more ram in his crappy prebuilt as he wants to max to 16gb untill he is finished getting parts for his custom build i need help trying to find the model number or the MHZ for the ram, his prebuilt is a Acer ATC-605

A better picture would greatly help, but it appears to be a 4GB stick of ddr3-1600

acr1603lu1kfg would be the model number with the 4G being the capacity, but it won't help you find more if they are discontinued.

The number on the left sticker not the one right above the barcode, but the one above it is the part number. I am actually familiar with Kingston part numbers because of my job.

 

It's DDR3 1600, 4gb stick.

does it have to be PC3L 1600MHZ to work??

well 1600mhz is about the cheapest avalible (ties with ddr3 1333)

but no it will run at the slower speed unless you manually overclock it

so basicly if he got 1600 PCL3 or just regular PC3 12800 will it work if so then thats my problem solved

yes it should work, but its never 100% certain because the memory can be incompatible with the motherboard or the other memory sticks but that's like 1 out of 1000 that that would happen, so it should be fine
