Budget Vlogging Camera

Zeako_

So I am going to start Vlogging.

I want the camera to be below $250 preferably but $300 if neeeded.

- I would like it to be 1080p

- A flip out screen is preferable but I know it usually isn't on budget cameras.

I use the Canon Vixia HF R500 and love it. It does 60FPS, too, if you want it. Flip-out screen, mic input, stereo mics on board. Records to AVCHD or MP4 (H.264) via SDXC card, removable battery, etc.

Currently $233 on Amazon.

Most camcorders have a flip out screen, and their internal microphones are much better than almost every photo camera's internal mics.  Camcorders also tend to come with some video lighting built in.  I recommend a Sony or a Canon camcorder within your budget.

I have heard that the Canon S120 should be a pretty good camera.

The S120 is a prosumer level for compact point & shoot cameras.  Unlike most P&S, you can capture RAW.
