PS4 for Bloodborne and Destiny?

Tasuma

Hey all! I am thinking about getting a ps4 for bloodborne and Destiny. I've heard good things about both games and I'm in a position where I can save up for both. Do you guys think it would be worth it for those games? I mean if any other exclusives come out that are nice I'll prob pick them up. Oh and god of war I'd pick up.

Friends that I play PC games with a lot also have PS4's and they say Destiny has gotten mountains better with the expansions, and they also say Bloodbourne is super fun.

Buying a whole console just for those games isn't worth it to me, though.

I'd get other games that are exclusives as time goes on. Just for the first purchase though.

Nope. I've had a ps4 since last Christmas and I never play on it anymore. I used to play destiny but honestly it's just a cash grab now, the original game is dirt cheap but you will be paying more than $100 if you want to play the dlc. Also, the original game has limited content and it locks you out of core content if you don't have the dlc. The purpose that my ps4 has now is to be my monitor stand and so I can chat to my friends when we play csgo or left for dead. If you already have a gaming pc, don't spend $350 on a ps4.

The taken kings comes with all the DLC for $60 so I wouldn't pay more than $100. :D

Sure. I don't know what your rig is like but you won't have to worry about tweaking settings to run a game well (like Arkham Knight and AC Unity). Just make sure you are in fact willing to spend that much money for those experiences that you get with a console. The PS4 isn't magical, it's a gaming console like the ones in most previous generations. There are a lot of neat things about it but just ready your expectations. The live streaming and video recording of the past 15 minutes are cool though.

Also, if you're getting God of War 3 remastered, I hope you have another PS platform (PS2, PS3, PS Vita) to play the previous two main games. It may not seem like it, but it's actually almost essential to play the previous two to really enjoy the third one. The series has a better story than you might imagine.

Still wouldn't buy the dlc. Most of it should've been in the original game. They released Destiny even though it was incomplete so that they could release it early.

If you are a Dark Souls fan, it's worth it for Bloodborne alone. If you're not familiar with the games, then no. I bought a PS3 to play Demons Souls and it has been a Dark Souls machine ever since.

I love dark souls. Sadly haven't played much on PC since my controller broke. I plan on picking up a new one soon. :D

Gravity Rush remastered bro. I do wish they didn't do that series the way they did though ><

Agreed. After 16+ years of life how do people just ignore the whole personal preference thing? We all know this shit is personal preference, have since kindergarten. It's like everyone just ignores it and calls things shit because they want to feel superior or something?
