Best Mouse?

adams

What is the best mouse?

I am currently looking at the Mionix Castor.

Is there any other better mouse I have a budget of about $100 AUD (Roughly $70 USD)

Thanks,

Adam

For what? Gaming? Productivity? Anal Probing? What type of gaming?

There is no best mouse. It's all personal preference.
You'll have to do the questionnaire :D

  • What grip are you using? (palm, claw or fingerip grip)
  • How many buttons do you need?
  • How much DPI are you using and what games are you playing?
  • What color of the mouse and/or it's LEDs do you prefer?
  • Do you prefer light ot heavy mice?
  • Do you mind mice with glossy surfaces?
  • What kind of games will you be playing with it?
  • Do you need any special features (eg. RGB backlighting, rubberized side grips, etc.)

Your best bet for $99 AUD. Don't bother looking in store, it's way more expensive. $150 at Dick Smith.

@adams

The Mionix Castor is suitable for palm grip if you have small hands. Otherwise I'd suggest the Steelseries Rival 300 or the Mionix Naos 7000, which is a palm only, ergonomic mouse.
