Finally got my dream rig!

Hello, for any of you following my past posts you would know that i have been experiencing extreme slow down on my PC caused by full memory, i have 8 gbs so it was very concerning. (This was fixed after installing me new hardware.) So, i bought some new parts (i5 4690k, evga supernova 750w psu, 980 ti) with my Christmas bonus and after installing them, i didn't even have to reinstall windows 10. So, my new year has started out great. Would love to hear of anyone else getting some new hardware. Finally everyone can stop roasting me for having an AMD CPU in a high end rig.

My late Christmas presents will be a Cryorig R1 Universal CPU cooler and Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD.

Just waiting on getting credited for a different item I returned.

I got dual LG 24" IPS Montiors, some dank speakers, and a bunch of audio equipment for Christmas.

OH! AND THEN I BOUGHT A ATHLON II X2 B22 AND TWO AMD HD 6350!

 

Best CPU GPU combo ever.

Yeah i know, i didn't have enough to go full z97. Oh well, i'm not doing any overclocking.

I would run memtest86+ on that ram.

i feel for you man, i have had good luck (knock on wood) and have never have had to RMA a component. I truly hope you can get the money very soon.

It all fine now. My best guess was a possible memory leak, because now its running at its stock 1600mhz and it is performing as it was before

lol, the purpose of the build with the Athlon and the dual GPU's is to demonstrate that you can build a gaming PC for $50.

Yeah, in some ways, i think that cheap and powerful gaming rigs feel better to use. Maybe its because your wallet isn't screaming in the corner, forcing you to rethink everything. Who knows.

What brand of monitor? I am saving up for a acer predator 1440p ultrawide.

Asus VX279, 27" IPS GTG 1080p monitor. I use VSR to play at 1440 so I'm waiting until the prices drop on 1440 to 1080 levels before I move up. Salesman REALLY didn't like me getting a IPS panel for gaming but I've loved my Acer and the Asus is next level.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
