Yo guys,

I am having trouble sith my win 10 laptop. I have bought some new games on steam and am planning to record them for my youtube channel. I have an amd gpu and I am playing just cause 2, tomb raider, and geometry dash. Unfortunately, the recording software that I downloaded from amds website, which was raptr, doesnt workproperly with these games. I need other free recording softwares. I have also tried OBS, and overwolf.

HELP NEEDED!

bandicam

you can use the free version with just a logo at the top + 10 min limit, or pay for the full version

witht the 10 min limit you can always just piece them together in post editing

OBS is probably the best program to record with, not sure why you're having problems with it.

Yeah, depending on what GPU you have, you can either use nvidia shadowplay or if you have AMD you can use the AMD Gaming APP which allows for the same exact thing as shadowplay. It is called play.tv, you dont have to use the service, I just use it to record gameplay.

for like $35 you can get DxTory or you can use OBS for free. What are your issues with OBS?

3 tips to have a good time on the LTT forums | 1. When you reply to someone please quote them | 2. Please follow your threads | 3. Follow the C.o.C

If you follow these 3 tips you should have a blast.

i'm rather proud of this for some reason. http://imgur.com/6ttS5XZ

Whenever I use OBS it always freezes in the first 1 or 2 seconds of the recording and it just stays frozen.

You need to play on the settings, find online guide.

Anyway you can try use latest MSI Afterburner with AMD AMF.
