I have a hyperX cloud that I just got and I've been using the logitech g430 before it. Whenever I would watch a vid, even if it's on really low volume my friends would hear it, I would even take off the headset and couldnt even hear the video from there but my friends would be able to hear it.

Either your volume is still loud or your friends are fucking with you.

 

I dont care if people can hear my audio through my mic, I want my volume loud and im not gonna adjust the volume of something I bought for you

most probably the volume is up , try the default ambient noise suppression from you audio codec control panel

i literally put the volume so low that i can barely hear it. I've even checked it on teamspeak whenever i would watch a vid, the voice volume would spike up. also why post if u're not gonna even help.

It is a setting issue, not hardware. Check your recording devices settings in ts and in your task bar.

It isn't that it is too loud this has happened many times with my friends and I still don't have an answer. I don't know if the channels get messed up or what but you can hear it like you are watching it even when their volume is really low

It isn't that it is too loud this has happened many times with my friends and I still don't have an answer. I don't know if the channels get messed up or what but you can hear it like you are watching it even when their volume is really low

I'm sorry but I have fixed this issue just messing with the settings in both areas I suggested. Cant remember ;(. The best way since it's already I guess, messed up, mess with it more :)

Aight, I could have a fix. Right click the speaker in the bottom right of the taskbar. Playback devices: properties of ur headset; levels; and check the microphone and see if its not muted.

Did you set Stereo Mix as recording devices?

I had a similar issue with friends hearing my PC audio clear as day even though I was wearing a headset, no way it could be from mic picking up the audio and playing it that way.

 

Fix for me was unshielded front panel audio jacks. Interference was causing the signal from the audio to hit the mic signal.

 

Move Headphone / Mic jacks to motherboard jacks at back of machine and off the front panel audio fixed for me.
