Temps while playing

Go to solution Solved by Mug,

Your cooling is clearly fine. These are good temperatures.

Here are my temperatures while playing Witcher 3.

CPU: Going 63°C

GPU: Going 75°C

My specs are listed on my signature.

Are those temperatures just fine? Or should I get a better cooling? I dont have much budget so I'd appreciate to get expert opinion if it's fine to leave it just be.

Witcher3 gives good stress to my pc right? So if I play other games it wont exceed those temperatures right?

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X | MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Vision D | RAM: Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB 3600MHz | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision D | PSU: Seasonic Focus+ Gold 750W

that's a bit warm for a CPU

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Perfectly fine for the GPU! The CPU is a little warmer than I would expect for a i5 but it totally 100% safe!!!

280X is a hot card so that's fine, the CPU is a little toasty though but below limits

It's fine.

Stock Coolers are that way.

You can get a Hyper 212 evo for cheap and cool it better.

Totally fine, don't worry.

I dont have much budget so I'd appreciate if I can maintain my performance without spending or at least spending the minimum.. Thanks for the input..

How much do you have? What case do you have? Are your heatsinks and fans clean?

with a low budget you can do something too ;)   you only need air and something to guide it

maybe draw something in paint to show your fan-setup                         ( push / pull )

Even though my CPU is a bit warm it wont change its performance even if I get coolers right? So i'd prefer not to purchase one. But if you can say that it will affect the performance then definitely I'd get one.

Thanks everyone.

the cpu is fine for beeing stock cooled, no cooler won't affect Performance but its just nicer to Keep them as cool as possible, since you get longer lifespan out of your chip. But your temps are 100% fine so don't worry

Thanks everyone.

It'll be the same performance even at that temp.

But if you get a better cooler, it'll be safe. longer CPU life. less heats produced.

Thanks everyone.

Aftermarket coolers help most in OC and noise situations. It will bring your max temps down some too. But in the end if you aren't having overheating issues, not getting aftermarket cooler for non-K CPU is fine too.
