too much thermal paste?

i'm pretty sure I accidentally put too much thermal paste on my 4790K hits 80C at 100% not overclock and when I overclock it too 4.6GHz it's gets to 100C... So how do I clean thermal paste off?

Just curious, can I see your source?

It's the first picture on a google search for "apple too much thermal paste". Apparently, it's taken from the Apple Service Manual.

You are supposed to use rubbing alcohol to clean it off. But I have literally used my shirt to clean off my CPU LOL (Please don't do that).

Yeah, don't do that if you don't want stains. I just use a paper towel.

I meant for the image of Apple putting that much paste on, which he answered already.
